How we are governed

The WCCF is registered (number 1120321) with the English Charity Commission - the regulator and registrar for all charities in England and Wales.

Our own board of unpaid trustees are all experts in child cancer, business or patient/carer advocacy. As such, they are deeply committed to helping the WCCF realise our mission: to give all children with cancer access to the best possible treatment and care, regardless of where in the world they live.

Trustees:
Gordon Morrison (Chair)
Prof. Tim Eden
Terry Hunt
Simon Lala
Marianne Naafs-Wilstra
Raul Ribeiro, MD
Geoff Thaxter

The key thought governing everything we do is that no child should suffer. The United Nations’ Rights of the Child – including the right to life and the right to treatment when ill – is an important reference document for us in this regard.

Finally, the WCCF adopts best-practice in the way we raise funds and in the programs we choose to support.
