Experts welcome the WCCF

The International Confederation of Childhood Cancer Parents Organisation (ICCCPO) endorses this view. Whilst there are many national and local childhood cancer charities around the world, ICCCPO identified the need for an international charity – the WCCF – to help achieve its mission that all children with cancer get the highest level of care available, regardless of race, culture or social standing.

The WCCF was also welcomed by St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which specializes in the treatment and care of childhood cancer. Dr Scott Howard from St Jude said “I am very excited about the mission and methods of the WCCF. We now have another ally to help bring life-saving cures and compassionate palliative care to chidren with cancer in low income countries.”
