Success in improving the rates of survival from child cancer depends on consistency and long term development. Many good projects have failed because they lacked the support to become self-sustaining.
Now, with the WCCF, there is an international organisation to:
• Act as a conduit for best-practice from around the globe;
• Generate substantial funding;
• Channel resources to where they are needed and have the chance to deliver sustainable results.
As a result, many more children with cancer in low income countries will have access to the treatment and palliative care they desperately need.
